FurBall Dr. contains the following 100% natural ingredients:

  • Psyllium nigrum husk is a very high source of dietary fiber and has been used for centuries to treat ulcers and colitis and to promote regular bowel movements. It also helps to clear the body of excess cholesterol and helps to prevent heart disease.

  • Aloe Ferox: A succulent and well known medicinal herb native to South Africa, Aloe Ferox has many different therapeutic uses and writings from as early as 1500BC in Ancient Egypt document its medicinal uses. Amongst other benefits, Aloe Ferox is known for its beneficial effect on digestive functioning and acts as a natural system cleanser and remedy for constipation. It is also widely recommended for digestive complaints.

  • Nux Vom. (30cH) is a proven homeopathic remedy often prescribed for indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting (especially violent retching) abdominal cramps. disease and all round systemic health.

  • Lactose (inactive ingredient)

5. Is FurBall Dr. approved by the FDA?

The FDA oversees all food and drug products. Since FurBall Dr. is a herbal dietary supplement, it falls under the ambit of the FDA. In 1994 the FDA set up guidelines for dietary supplements, including labeling requirements, and created the Dietary Supplement Health Education Act (DSHEA). FurBall Dr. follows all of DSHEA's guidelines. In addition, Pets Natural Choyce is an FDA-approved Food Facility, and all of our products are manufactured in a Pharmaceutical Graded, GMP-certified facility to guarantee the highest degree of consistency, reliability and potency.

 

6. What is the proper dosage?

Presented in convenient capsule form, FurBall Dr. capsules may be easily opened and the contents mixed with food or a treat.

1/2 capsule twice daily for 10 days followed by 1/2 capsule once a day as a maintenance dose for cats who are prone to furballs.

Caution: Safety during pregnancy and nursing has not yet been established.

You will find a white sticker under the bottle with the expiry date on it. It is best stored in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight.

An initial 10 day course is recommended to cleanse the system. Thereafter a maintenance dose will help to keep your cat free of furball associated problems such as retching, constipation and digestive discomfort.

11. How long does a bottle last?

One bottle of FurBall Dr. will last 2 - 3 months.

12. What else can I do to help my pet?

  • Grooming your cat regularly, especially while he is molting, will reduce the amount of hair he may swallow.

  • Ensure your cat is eating a balanced, high quality diet with plenty of raw and unprocessed food (preferably organic). Also make sure his diet contains plenty of fiber, fats and oils to help the hair pass easily through the digestive system.

  • Remove your cat's food after a while if he has not eaten it all. Periods of fasting throughout the day are very important for effective digestion and detoxification.
