Just a spritz a day…

Most dogs are perfectly happy when their skin and fur are well coated with their natural scents and oils. However, excess dirt can be uncomfortable for your dog (and attract unwanted pests) and so bathing is best. Be careful not to over-wash, as this will strip the coat of natural oils. Most dogs should be bathed once every two months. Speak to your vet about the best bathing schedule; some breeds may have sensitive skin and require less bathing.

The natural way

There is a lot that can be done naturally to help keep your pet’s hair and skin clear. It is always a good idea to brush your pet thoroughly every day, as this will help remove dirt and help spread natural oils throughout the coat (it also prevents nasty tangles from forming). An easy way to keep dogs clean is to dust their coats with a mixture of cornstarch and baby powder, and brush it through. It may sound odd, but the powder readily ‘soaks up’ skin oils and helps eliminate the usual "doggy" smell. For longer lasting fresh smelling coats, a natural shampoo or spray can be used.

What is Manage Mites Spray?

Manage Mites Spray contains a combination of herbs known for their ability to help discourage pests and loosen dirt, while still supporting healthy skin. This 100% herbal remedy is a natural cleansing herbal spray for dogs using only tested, natural ingredients.

There is a great deal of evidence to suggest that the use of carefully chosen herbal ingredients can help to support skin health. Along with the correct lifestyle choices, our herbal remedies can make all the difference to your pet’s health.

What are the Ingredients?

Manage Mites Spray contains the following ingredients:

  • Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) contains the dried, above ground parts of the plant. The aerial plant arts contain 4-10% condensed tannins, which can account for its astringent properties. It has been researched for its ability to support skin health (Patrascu V, Chebac PI. “Favorable therapeutic results in cutaneous porphyria obtained with Agrimonia eupatoria”. Revista De Medicina Interna Neurologie Psihiatrie Neurochirurgie Dermato Venerologie Serie Dermato Venerologia 1984;29(2):153-157).

  • Wormwood has been researched for it’s ability to support healthy flora on the skin (Juteau, F., Jerkovic, I., Masotti, V., Milos, M., Mastelic, J., Bessiere, J. M., and Viano, J. “Composition and antimicrobial activity of the essential oil of Artemisia absinthium from Croatia and France”. Planta Med 2003;69(2):158-161).

  • Neem (Azadirachta indica) is thought to have originated in Assam in northeast India, and Myanmar, where it is common throughout the central dry zone. I has been researched for its ability to discourage pests (Sharma, S. K., Dua, V. K., and Sharma, V. P. “Field studies on the mosquito repellent action of neem oil”. Southeast Asian J.Trop.Med.Public Health 1995;26(1):180-182.)

  • Lemongrass (Cymbopogon spp.) has been found to contain up to 75-85% citral components. It has been studied for its ability to support cleansing (El Kamali, H. H., Hamza, M. A., and El Amir, M. Y. “Antibacterial activity of the essential oil from Cymbopogon nervatus inflorescence”. Fitoterapia 2005;76(5):446-449).

This product contains absolutely no parabens, sodium laurel sulphate or harmful petrochemicals.

Get optimum results with regular use

While conventional medicine works by often treating just the symptoms, natural medicine strives to create holistic balance in the body to support systemic health, relieve ailments, and help prevent future disease. Unlike pharmaceutical drugs, the natural ingredients in our remedies support overall health and functioning (rather than just suppressing symptoms).

Animals respond to natural medicine in different ways, some of our satisfied customers experience immediate results with their horses while many others have reported optimal benefits taking effect within 3-6 weeks. To ensure your animal receives optimum results it is important to take natural remedies as directed and remain consistent.

Manage Mites Spray is highly recommended along with the following natural remedies for maximum effectiveness.

How long until I see results?

Response times vary from animal to animal, based on their physiological make up and other circumstances, such as age, diet and exercise levels. While some dogs show an immediate improvement that increases over time, others will see results after 1-2 applications.

How long will a bottle last?

One 50 ml bottle of Manage Mites Spray will last around 3-4 weeks, depending on the frequency of use.
