It is very unlikely that you will be able to protect your pet from all accidents and potential injuries but there are a few of things that may help to lower the risk:

• Keep your yard and pets’ living environment free of obvious hazards such as sharp tools and other objects, bee hives, broken glass and poison ivy.

• If your pet is prone to neighborhood scraps or fights make sure he/she is contained on your property and not allowed to play unsupervised with other pets.

• Any wound that won’t stop bleeding, does not begin to resolve within a few days or becomes infected should be seen to by a vet as soon as possible.

• If your pet is bitten by another animal and the skin is broken it is important for you to consult a vet regarding infection and Rabies protection.

• If your pet has been exposed to Poison Ivy and develops swollen eyes, mouth and tongue or appears to have any breathing difficulty, urgent medical attention is strongly recommended.

• Cleansing with Clenzor is recommended.
